The pannier adapter is an accessory of an accessory, but a very useful one. When using the Cargo Hold 37 panniers on your Tern GSD, the pannier adapter allows you to install a child seat on the back of the carrier while attaching the outer straps of the Cargo Hold 37 together, to ensure they don't hang down while you ride. Simple but effective.
