If you order this accessory separately from the bike, you will need to clean the paint inside the frame mounting threads. This is done with an M6 tap, preferably by a professional. The M6 tap is not included in the delivery.
Compatibility: only with Gen2 frames. See the picture to identify if your frame is Gen1 or Gen2. Heinzmann motors are always Gen1, Shimano always Gen2, and Bafang can be Gen1 or Gen2. The new bikes are all Gen2.
