RIESE & MÜLLER Load5 60 touring HS

The Riese & Müller Load5 60 Touring HS is the high-speed electric cargo bike that pushes the limits of what is possible. Thanks to its Bosch Performance Line Speed motor providing assistance up to 45 km/h, it is aimed at cyclists who want to combine the transport capacity of a cargo bike with the speed of a speed bike, for quick urban and suburban journeys even when loaded.

Associated with the Bosch PowerPack 800 Wh battery integrated into the frame — the most powerful in the range — and with the Shimano XT 11-speed Linkglide transmission, the Load5 60 Touring HS delivers exceptional long-term performance. The robustness of the Linkglide transmission is particularly appreciated on a cargo bike subjected to the demands of daily loading. For those who want even more capacity, the option DualBattery 1600 Wh is available.

Comfort and safety are ensured by a full dual suspension : front fork SR Suntour Mobie 34 CGO Boost with 80 mm of travel and rear shock X-Fusion Glyde, which effectively absorb shocks even when loaded. The X-Fusion Manic dropper seat post (150/170 mm) facilitates handling and manoeuvring. The Tektro TRP C 2.3 disc brakes provide braking power suitable for high speeds, with the option of the Bosch eBike ABS system or the IBS system for optimal braking control.

Designed to ride fast and be seen, the Load5 60 Touring HS is equipped with the Supernova M99 Mini Pro-45 front light — specially approved for speed bikes — and a rear light Supernova with integrated brake light and number plate illumination. A Supernova horn replaces the classic bell, compliant with legal requirements for pedal-assisted bicycles up to 45 km/h. The mirror Busch & Müller Cycle Star standardly integrated further enhances safety in traffic. Riese & Müller kickstand, ABUS lock, ergonomic grips Ergon and saddle Ergon SF10 Gel complete a setup designed for intensive and comfortable daily use.

With its 60 cm cargo platform, its universal frame size and a maximum permissible load of 200 kg, the Load5 60 Touring HS is adaptable to many uses thanks to the available optional kits: Cargo kit, Dog kit, Family kit or Performance kit. It is available in four colours (arctic, coal grey matt, peanut matt and tundra grey matt) and approved for use with a two-wheeled trailer.
