How much does a bike service cost at KOMUT?
The price depends on the type of bike: €79 for a non-electric bike, €89 for an electric bike and €129 for a cargo or longtail bike, excluding parts and additional repairs.
Which package should I choose for my bike?
Simply choose the package that matches your bike: non-electric, electric, or cargo and longtail. Each package is designed for the needs of that type of bike; none is more complete than another.
Do I need an appointment for a repair?
Yes. Our workshops work by appointment only, to guarantee quality service and controlled turnaround times. Book a slot online at our Uccle, Saint-Gilles or Woluwe-Saint-Pierre workshop.
Will I be told if the repair costs more than expected?
Yes. If the expected cost exceeds €250 (€300 for a cargo or longtail bike), we always call you before starting work.
Do you repair bikes that were not bought at KOMUT?
Bikes bought at KOMUT Bikes are given priority, but we also work on other brands depending on availability and compatibility.
Do you repair Bosch, Shimano and Brompton electric bikes?
Yes. Our workshops are equipped for electronic diagnostics, software updates, motor and battery adjustment and component replacement on the main systems, including Bosch, Shimano and Brompton e-Motiq, depending on the model.
How often should I have my bike serviced?
We recommend a service at least once a year, and more often if you ride a lot or all year round, as is often the case with an electric or cargo bike used every day.
