A Riese & Müller e-bike is a real investment. With RX Connect, it is linked to your smartphone: alarm, GPS location and, depending on the plan, replacement if stolen. Here is how it works and which plan to choose.

How does RX Connect work?
On compatible models, Riese & Müller builds in an invisible chip, the RX Chip, which connects the bike to the mobile network. The free RX Connect app then becomes your bike's dashboard: real-time position, logged trips, statistics and nearby workshops.
Digital alarm
At the slightest suspicious movement, you get a notification on your smartphone.
GPS tracking
You can see where your bike is, anywhere in Europe.
Logged trips
Distances, routes and statistics are logged automatically.

ConnectRide is free for the first year. ConnectCare comes in three versions (Comfort, Smart and Basic) and its first year is free on selected models, including the Carrie2, Charger5, Delite5, Homage5, Load5 and Multitinker2. Prices after the first year depend on the plan: we go through them in store.

If your bike is stolen: how does recovery work?
Report the theft
Report it to the police and to Riese & Müller through the app.
The search begins
Specialists locate the bike using GPS tracking.
Bike found
It is secured and sent back to your dealer. Any repairs are covered.
Not found after 14 days
You receive a bike of the same value.
These guarantees apply to the ConnectCare plan. The full terms are Riese & Müller's at the time of subscription.
The KOMUT tip
Use a strong lock and attach your bike to a fixed point: RX Connect alerts you and helps recover it, but the best theft is the one that never happens.

Connect services require a bike fitted with the RX Chip, built in as standard on many recent models. Tell us your bike's model and year: we will check in store.
ConnectRide covers the digital alarm, GPS tracking and trip logging. ConnectCare adds theft protection and, depending on the version, breakdown cover and a mobility service.
With ConnectCare, you report the theft to the police and to Riese & Müller. Specialists track the bike by GPS. If it is not found within 14 days, you receive a bike of the same value.
No. RX Connect alerts you and helps recover the bike, but a strong lock is still essential to deter theft. The two work together.
