24-inch kids’ bikes in Brussels

What really matters

• Size before age: the child should reach the ground while seated; inseam matters more than age.
• Weight: a light bike is easier to control and makes riding fun.
• Brakes: levers sized for small hands.
• Safety: helmet, lights and bell for riding in town.

What budget should you plan?

In this category our bikes range from about €689 to €1,099, depending on brand, frame and equipment. A light, well-made bike lasts for years and can be handed down from one child to the next.
